Hybrid Schedule: Onsite 4 days per week with remote Fridays

The Senior Accountant will report directly to the Controller and play an essential role in daily accounting operations, month-end and year-end close, and maintaining strong internal controls.   • Base salary range: $80,000 to $100,000

Responsibilities

  • Support daily accounting operations including month-end and year-end close, journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
  • Assist in the preparation and distribution of internal and external financial reports
  • Support annual audit activities including preparation of required documentation
  • Maintain and strengthen internal controls while contributing to process improvements
  • Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure the overall accuracy and efficiency of financial operations

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred
  • Three to five years of accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting
  • Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Nonprofit experience is a plus but not required
  • Strong communication skills and a positive, solutions-oriented attitude
