About the Role
Central Texas Recruiting is seeking an experienced Hybrid Artificial Intelligence (AI) Engineer to join a mission-focused team in Annapolis Junction, MD. In this critical role, youll design, prototype, and integrate AI solutions into existing RAD architectures, enhancing intelligence workflows and augmenting human decision-making. This position blends hands-on AI development with collaborative work across software, systems, and domain teams to deliver impactful, reliable solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and development of AI-driven solutions from concept to deployment
Prototype and maintain production-quality AI/ML models integrated with existing systems
Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) on structured and unstructured datasets
Build, train, evaluate, and validate machine learning models to ensure performance and reliability
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to present AI approaches and tradeoffs to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Implement robust testing, validation, and continuous improvement strategies for AI systems
Apply cloud computing platforms, including AWS and MLOps tools, for model deployment and management
Stay current with AI/ML advancements to improve system capabilities and problem-solving

Qualifications & Requirements
U.S. Citizenship Required
Active TS/SCI with Full-Scope Polygraph Required

Education & Experience:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Extensive experience designing, developing, and deploying AI/ML solutions in complex environments

Technical Skills & Competencies:
Proficiency with AI/ML frameworks, model building, and evaluation
Experience with AWS cloud platforms and MLOps deployment
Strong data analysis, feature engineering, and data modeling skills
Excellent collaboration, communication, and problem-solving abilities
Ability to lead technical discussions and integrate AI into mission-critical systems
