Job Description:
We are looking to fill an Accounting Manager with a large and stable organization in Carrollton, TX. The Accounting Manager will ensure accurate financials, act as a business partner to other divisions within the company, lead and develop staff and help create and maintain an environment of efficiency.
This position pays 120K-125K+Bonus and offers a Hybrid work schedule.
Responsibilities:
Maintain the general ledger, tracking assets, liabilities, expenses, and revenues
Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close and financial reporting
Assist internal and/or external auditors with periodic audits
Provide appropriate level of guidance and development for direct reports
Provide financial statement guidance to Operations
Review financial data for completeness, accuracy, and compliance
Ensure that appropriate internal controls and compliance processes are followed
Makes recommendations for process improvements and automation opportunities
Assist the Controller and Assistant Controller with projects and required research
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Bachelor degree in Accounting
CPA license is a plus
Minimum 5-7 years related experience including supervisory/management experience
Large and/or public company is strongly preferred but not required
Working knowledge of GAAP
Proven ability to systematically enhance processes and drive improvements
Experience in large ERP systems is preferred
Pay Details: $120,000.00 to $124,999.00 per year
