In this role, you will act as the key contributor in the design, development, and optimization of our public-facing website. You’ll enhance and modernize our existing website to deliver a more intuitive, accessible, and consistent user experience that reflects LAGERS brand with impact. From UX research and usability testing to responsive development and quality assurance, you will play a critical role in shaping how our members and stakeholders engage with us through our public website and our customer portals. Salary: $76,000 to $91,000 starting annual salary is negotiable and will depend on experience and identified value brought to the organization. LAGERS benefits include:

Web and UX Engineer Job Functions:
- Design, implement, and maintain the organization’s public-facing website, ensuring content accuracy, functionality, and alignment with LAGERS brand standards.
- Develop intuitive, accessible, and consistent user experiences across multiple platforms.
- Monitor and optimize website performance by proactively troubleshooting and resolving issues.
- Conduct UX research, usability testing, and integrate user feedback into design and development.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure UX consistency, accessibility, and high-quality functionality in portals and applications.
- Perform quality assurance (QA) testing and lead integration of third-party platforms to enhance user experiences.
- Develop and maintain responsive, cross-browser compatible web pages using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern web technologies.
- Leverage analytics tools to track site performance and recommend data-driven improvements.
- Ensure compliance with accessibility standards and contribute to accessibility best practices.
Our ideal Web and UX Engineer should have:
- Proficiency in front-end web development languages and frameworks (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Experience working with content management systems.
- Familiarity with web accessibility standards and guidelines (e.g., WCAG 2.1).
- Understanding of UX principles, including responsive design and usability best practices.
- Experience with QA practices, including testing for cross-browser and mobile compatibility.
- Ability to interpret web analytics and use data to make informed design and content decisions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across teams.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
